This is the second book in the Peaceful Warrior Saga. Without revealing too much of the major concepts of the story, the ending is quite amazing. This is not an easy read, but it’s surely very satisfying.

One of my favourites Loved every minute of this book. We hold on to anger and resentments and they overcome us, possess us. Finally, he travels abroad to train with a convened collection of sages from various traditions Taoism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity,etc.
If I could give this countless stars I would. You will find this saga quite different from Way of the Peaceful Warrior — I had no wish to clone my first work. Sent to an elite military academy at the tender age of four, Sergei Ivanov Socrates comes of age training to protect a way of life he doesn’t understand. Through stories, tests, and experiences in the wild, she challenges Millman to examine twelve core principles that underlie human existence: Like I thought, it was hit and as it did for me many years ago, it drew my family in with emotional energy.
This book deserves more than 5 stars. Every time I started reading I was plunged into the world of Russia in the late ‘s and found myself never wanting to leave. I am happy that the world has such a person as Dan. I’ll divide this book into three parts. I really enjoyed the book though the violence and cruelty were hard and off putting at times. The characters are quite deep, featuring qualities and characteristics which tend to stick with the reader, almost as if the adventure was his or her own.
He could never have imagined that from the moment of his birth he was destined to become the peaceful warrior who would change the lives of millions worldwide. When a sudden death forces Sergei to flee, he escapes into the wilderness. The story itself is devastating at times but allows engages the big questions of meaning and purpose from various times throughout the main characters life. The beginning tells the history of Socrates and at first I didn’t see milman relevance and wondered where “the good stuff” was; I later realized that this history was a key part of understanding Socrates, where he’d come from and what he sicrates to become the person he was at the end of the book.
The ‘Peaceful Warrior’ books are a must read! The story begins with Sergei maturing into adulthood, from his school years to his time in St. I am a martial arts instructor and already praising it to all my students and friends.

Too many fantastical, exaggerated I didn’t particularly enjoy this book. Just when I didn’t think Millman could surpass his first book, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, the book that truly changed my life and van on the universe.

Only through great personal tragedy, loss and the need for revenge does he begin to understand the path he was set upon. However, I found this book to be the most readable of all.
