I also didn’t care for the “plot” of the book, but again, the writing made up for a story line that I didn’t care for.

For the above reasons I was going to give this book 1 star but the ending saved it, it was captivating and tragic. It is well written but seems to meander a lot while getting around to the point of telling the story.
