I didn’t like the plot tbh but there’s a reason why I’m giving this book 4 stars, which I believe it definitely deserves.

The props and costumes are selectively realistic. Here heart stands representative of gayavadana body, the tangible while the head represents the intangible, wisdom, poetry call it what you please.

Through the efforts of Kapila, Devadatta and Padmini get married. Hayavadana is again imbued with the same wit and humour that characterised Nagamandala, however this play is more concerned with exploring some deep philosophical questions about the body, mind and soul. Hayavadana starts singing songs and suddenly starts laughing.
