The story of this book largely centres around Biffy and Alexia who both face their own trails and problems. Basically Lyall went from one of my favorite characters to one of my hated ones.

Heartless is a steampunk paranormal romance novel by Gail Carriger. It’s like urban fantasy covers with kickass heroines sporting knifes on the cover but you everyday normal girl as the main character I’m looking at you Mind Games I just expected more.
She’s actually residing in Lord Akeldama’s second best closet. This book was so much fun to write, partly because in her advanced state the slapstick part of humor writing was really easy to come by.
And what, exactly, has taken up residence in Lord Akeldama’s second best closet? I honestly get excited when someone heartleds back into the story because they are so fun and quirky.
