I’ve always been a fan of Chris Jericho and I have to say after reading this, Th an even bigger fan of his now. When he speaks about the incident that happened to his mother, it is brutal and touching. Basically a recipe for a suicide that’s waiting to chri. Second, it illuminated the behind-the scenes world of pro wrestling in the 80s and 90s, when the industry drew the most interest. Reading about some of the wrestlers that I mericho up watching as a kid was good fun, and the author’s humor was fantastic.
His willingness to exploit the scene of professional wrestling, even more than his predecessors Mick Foley and Bret Hart had, and sharing every last detail of his inspirational journey from bingo hall to the WWE, helps put this first of Jericho’s trilogy over the top in my mind. Knowing how to wrestle was only the first half.

Further, it is always fascinating as someone who just does not have that kind of drive to read about how an individual’s single-minded determination can drive them to the top of their field.
