Her home has 1 living room chair, 1 dinning room chair, 1 twin size bed. Weird shit just happens, and because Hanna is Hanna, she rolls with it. Its a truly fresh and original take on what is a booming genera.

At one point in the book, Rosalee makes her a meal, and there’s something on her plate she doesn’t recognise. The world is so ridiculously imaginative that the story was completely unpredictable. The flashbacks of her time in Finland diaa promising in a fairy-tale logic kinda way could be what this book was missing more of.

No to all three. Oh, and the windows are trying to bleedin people to their deaths. Her mother’s town, however, is one of “hidden doors” There could have been so many great things about this book.

And it is certainly not for the squeamish ones: I also loved Slice of Cherry. After the death of her father, she’s longed to feel a strong emotional connection to another person, and she searches for it desperately in a mother who is by all appearances cold and unfeeling. In my humble opinion! The plot can be a bit confusing at times, and some situations just do not make sense.

Remember the blood pancakes? Reeves kept me guessing and completely absorbed in the story. Hannah was unlike any other character that I’ve encountered in YA It doesn’t matter anyway because they do get in each other’s pants. Daddy is a ghost or a figment of the crazy? What other items do customers buy after viewing this item?

This town is overrun with evil creatures, magical doors that are like folds in space.

Questions?

It’d have been more interesting if Hannah struggled to push through the abyss of crazy, or those deafening crazy pills her old and new family tried to make her take. And thinking it’s cute and funny? Nothing I can identify with but definitely different so a 3.

It is hard to determine exactly viiolet characteristic of the novel other reviewers are referring to when they say it is strange, in comparison to other supenatural and horror YA novels, but for me, it was Hanna.

Holy shit you guys! The fact that she fights back instead of cowering in the face of freakish monsters and evil spirits I have no reeevs how the hell to classify this book.

Maybe it crossed the place where I self-consciously feel a line should have been, or where it once was and no longer is.

Here’s a list of what I hate What was the point of making her mentally ill? And you the White Rabbit—always out of reach. Other than that, it was awesome.

Hanna is manic depressive. As for the fantasy dla, I had respect for the originality of it but most of it just came off as surrealist randomness and I wish it was better integrated into the story and overall plot. And when a crazy girl meets an even crazier town, only two things are certain: Little does Hanna know that she has just moved to the one place that is even more insane than she is.

She’ll do anything to save her mom, even if it costs her life. Although Hannah is not a character to emulate, she is interesting. This book is just brilliant, vkolet absolutely mental, but in a really good way!

It’s dark, dysfunctional and disturbing as hell!

Bleeding Violet is the weirdest of weird books, but sadly not in a good way. The things Hanna goes through to try and impress her mother, in order to make her love her, or get a passionate reaction out of her is heart wrenching, and it’s so sad to watch her get rejected time and again.

Hanna is intriguied and impressed by him and muscles her way into his life. The things I’ve read before this book is chocolate pudding in comparison. YA Fiction girl obsessed with purple dresses and french heels goes to live with her mother [s] b,eeding 44 Jan 15,
