Maurice Blanchot
A figure of great thought and importance, dwelling on the margins of society both physical and intellectual. It shocks me how little Blanchot is known and discussed even in academia and especially outside of france. So, Blanchot is the intersection of the soul into the academy. Thanks for telling us about the problem. This book, The Space of Literature, did me the great favor of giving me insight into this book: No trivia or quizzes yet. Like so many members of his generation, Blanchot was influenced by Alexandre Kojeve’s humanistic interpretation of Hegel and the rise of modern existentialism influenced by Heidegger and Sartre.
