Cooperation with local affairs is very important, clearly. Clearly the man Terry Pratchett was insufficiently educated to produce such brilliant witty novels. Very thoroughly and very extensively. The previous Archchancellor Galder Weatherwax was great. When Stibbons is informed that the wizards teach, he questions the notion and is told: It’s a masterclass in writing really, because every wizard has a cawting-out personality and speech pattern.
Reading this felt like visiting a dear friend, who had sadly departed and whom I didn’t think I’d get to enjoy the company of again. Located in the fictional city of Ankh-Morpork,[1][2] the UU is staffed by a faculty composed of mostly indolent and inept old wizards. The wizards discuss what they actually do. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. It reminded me of so many hilarious ‘Wizards’ scenes I’ve read over the years, collegiiate despite it’s short length, it left me smiling for a long time.

For all that there were no actual devilisg devices” in this short story, Pratchett managed to keep things entertaining as he soundly mocks the academic establishment through the absolutely backwards devifes inept wizards of Unseen University’s “faculty.
The faculty meeting has more than occasional echoes of the dismal faculty meetings Henry Wilt is forced to attend at the Fenland College of Technology, where academics prove to have much the same grasp of reality and bureaucratic doggedness as their counterparts at UU.
Discworld is a comic fantasy book series written by the English author Terry Pratchett —set on the Discworld, a flat planet balanced on the backs of four elephants which in turn stand on the back of a giant turtle.
